Roles and Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions in accounting software.
- Ensure all financial data is up-to-date and reconciled regularly.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Utilize Power BI to develop and manage dashboards and reports that provide insights into financial performance.
- Create visualizations that summarize financial data, making it accessible to stakeholders.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and report on aging analyses using Power BI.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Leverage Power BI to automate reporting processes and streamline data presentation.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, using Power BI for scenario analysis and visualization.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis through interactive reports.
